Are you ready to make an impact? <\/i><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-63e9cc5b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"63e9cc5b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h1>POSITION SUMMARY:<\/h1>\n<p>Support Staff at our residential treatment program is responsible for performing advanced indirect and selected direct client care duties in support of the rehab process in a competent manner under the direction of Program Director.<\/p>\n<p>Job Type: Full Time Pay: $22-$25<\/p>\n<p>Work Location: Galt CA<\/p>\n<h1><br>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversees and assists clients with everyday life skills such as cleaning, cooking, practicing coping skills,<\/li>\n<li>Perform household duties such as cooking and<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that the environment of care adheres to the safe care of the clients adhering to policies, procedures, and standards of care.<\/li>\n<li>Engages with each client daily and documents interactions in shift\/incident<\/li>\n<li>Observe Client Self-administration of<\/li>\n<li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal to high volumes of stress.<\/li>\n<li>Uphold and enforce L.O.M. Substance Abuse Programs standards, policies and procedures, client rights, and professional code of ethics and conduct.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate groups (when applicable)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn, utilize and navigate<\/li>\n<li>Address client\u2019s inappropriate<\/li>\n<li>Document client Prepare documentation accurately and within time frames.<\/li>\n<li>Intervene during crisis<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the agency\u2019s Orientation training, staff meetings, and in-service<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to code of ethics, legal aspects of practice, professional standards, duty to warn, abuse and neglect reporting policies and procedures, exercise professionalism at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Exercise awareness in cultural competency, client satisfaction, quality of services, client needs, and overall health and safety staff and clients.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a high degree of self-awareness and the ability to stay calm under<\/li>\n<li>Utilizes trauma-informed care while applying crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, and supervision of the<\/li>\n<li>Seeks consultation when encountering new and\/or high-risk<\/li>\n<li>Works collaboratively with other members of the treatment team and communicates any concerns to immediate supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><br>QUALIFICATIONS<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be at least 18 years<\/li>\n<li>Current American Red Cross Adult First Aid, CPR Completion Certificate or agree to complete before start<\/li>\n<li>Must provide documentation of a TB test within the last<\/li>\n<li>Must possess a valid California driver\u2019s license and have a clean driving<\/li>\n<li>License Required: Valid California Driver\u2019s License \u2013 Class<\/li>\n<li>Travel: Willingness to travel: 25% of<\/li>\n<li>HS graduate or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in substance abuse counseling field, instruction\/internship, or similar practicum through education or certification process highly preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Prior knowledge\/experience with MAT (medication assisted treatment) highly<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of industry standards related to the position of Support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><br>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and\/or carry up to 40<\/li>\n<li>Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.<br><br><p class=\"p1\"><i>One step to your future starts here so come join a team that makes a difference in your community.
